Pain in the abdomen with black discharge, headache, back pain, nausea and weight gain. Missed depo shot and had unprotected sex. Pregnant?
Hi I am about a month late getting depo and it was my first shot and now I have been having dark brown almost black discharge , the other night I was having sharp pains, I have headaches all the time and back hurts and last night I started to feel nausious and I have gained about 8 pounds this past month? I have 4 babies already and the same day I got my first shot I had unprotected sex, could I be prego again?

hi,
depo injection can give the side effects like brownish to blackish discharge, pain abdomen, head ache, nausea, weight gain etc,
if you got the shot on your first day of periods then there is less chance of pregnancy as ovulation will not occur at that time, but if that was around the time of your ovulation then the protection on very first day is doubtful, usually when you take depo after first 5 days of menstrual period it will give protection after 14 days,
so if you are having any doubt regarding pregnancy, you can go for blood test to rule out the possibility in case of missed period.
