Pain In Tail Bone, Severe While Coughing. What Could Be This?

hi my tailbone recently starting hurting pretty bad and i didnt fall on it or do anything to injure it as far as i know. The pain is not too bad when im just sitting or standing but when i cough i have to try and hold it back because it hurts way too much. It feels like it could either be my tail bone or the very bottom of my spine. any suggestions on what it could be?

HI
Thank for choosing HCM
The most common cause of this must be spondylitis of coccyx bone, to confirm this better way is x-ray study, if it turn positive then you have to take a pain killer, but important is cough suppressant, because bout of cough exert downward force and that causes the compression, better to have orthopedic opinion if does not get alright, have nice day.
