Pain In Right Calf, Muscle Pull, Limping While Walking. Suggestions?
I have a pain in the right calf , it is like right in the middle and the bottom of the muscle, it started a few weeks ago when I was exercising and I stepped down real hard and I felt a painful pull in my calf, it does not seem to be healing , It will stop hurting for a day than I will just be walking and the pain will return and I begin to limp again. What can I do for this \?
Your pain could be due to a partial tear of the tendoachilles or tendinosis which has failed to resolve fully.
It is only after examination and other investigations that the exact cause can be labelled.
You are advised to see your doctor, who may prescribe some sort of shoe modifications or injection according to your problem.
In case u want to ask any thing further, feel free to contact me.

Hello,
Thanks for posting your query.
I have read your query in detail. The symptoms you have described are more likely to be symptoms of muscles strain.
To get relief from the pain and for quick healing:
1. Do hot fomatation at the site.
2. Apply local anti-inflammatory gel 2-3 times a day.
3. Take anti-inflammatory drugs like Ibuprofen to reduce pain and local swelling or inflammation.
4. Do not lift weight or try to do exercise that involve painful muscles. Give proper time for the injury to heal.
