IVE BEEN HAVING PROBLEMS MY RIBS AREA WHEN I BREATH AND NOW ITS BEEN GETTING WORSE WHEN I WALK I FEEL VERY SHARP PAIN I CAN ONLY SLEEP ON ONE SIDE MY PAIN IS GETTING Harter and it feels like its getting sharper/ and i smoke does it really matter//

Yes, smoking do affect chest pain and it can be heart problem also. I would suggest you that you should not ignore this and take opinion from a chest specialist. you should get at least your chest x ray and ECG report as this will fgive us better picture about what is happening.
