It was there three months ago, then went away and came back recently I also have chest area tender lymph nodes for the last four weeks, they are less painful more recently but still tender in some places, any advice welcome? Many thanks ND

Hi,
Thank you for your query on Healthcare Magic.
Pain on lower rib could be due to an inflammatory condition such as chostochondritis.
It is an inflammation of rib joints which presents with pain.
For pain, you can take ibuprofen in prescribed dose.
Consult the doctor for physical examination. Investigations like a chest x ray will helpful in ruling out any bone or lung condition.
Hope I have answered your query.
Regards.
