Hi welcome to Health care magic forum.
Thanks for calling H.C.M.Forum.
You noticed pain on left rib cage, when stretch left hand. You are diabetic under controle.
It appears to be the gastric pain, cevical spondylosis, etc.
I advise you to consult an orthopedic surgeon for diagnosis and treatment. You may need to have M.R.I. besides other routine tests for confirmation.
Wishing for a quick and complete recovery.
Best regards.

Hi,
Thanks for the query to H.C.M.Forum.
Still you are a borderline case of diabetes as HB 1AC level is 6.5% i.e. diabetes.
Pain on the left side in between intercostal space where nerves lies is known as "intercostal mononeuropathy.
This is a diabetic complication and usually recovers when diabetes is under control.
Strict regulation of blood sugar level is necessary in these type of cases.
So please get in blood examination on regular basis.
For pain you have to take pain killer most potent ,after consultation with a diabetologist.
Good luck.
