Pain In Left Side, Facial Twitching. MRI And CAT Scan Normal. Have Hypoglycemia, Bone Spur In Neck

My left side has been giving out on me for over a year. The muscles just suddenly stop working.I have had many nasty falls, nearly breaking my left hip and my left thigh and knee. I also have facial twitching that affects my speech and trembling/tremor like in both of my arms and hands. I have seen six neurologists and none of them know what to do for me. All of the MRI's and Cat scans are normal. I had a chemical stress test and they said my heart was healthy. I have lost an inch and a half in height, so a bone density test was done that was normal. I am 44, have been hypoglycemic since I was twelve, have had asthma since I was 25, am 5'6" and overweight by at least 80 pounds. I do have bone spurs in my neck and bulging discs in my lower back.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi, Thanks for using HCM.

The problem is in your left side of lower limb and both hands affected with left side facial muscles affected. So there may be due to some compression in the nerve tract. Get done one dynamic cervical CT scan. Have correct diabetic control. There should not be any hyper/hypo glycemia. and take your regular treatment for complete control of asthma and DM. Have adequate regular sleep, plenty of fluids, nutritious diet with required calorie and regular outdoor exercises. Breathing exercises will be good. Can take neuroprotectives like multivitamins and pregablin after discussion with your doctor.
Hope I answered your question. Consult your doctor for further management.
Feel free to ask me if you have any further queries or doubts and I shall be glad to help you out.
Wish you good health. Take care.

Regards
Dr. Lohit K
