Pain In Knee, Swollen, Pain Killer, Used Ice Packs And Heat Pack, Burning Sensation In Leg

Two weeks ago I returned from a walk and found myself having pain in my left knee . It was swollen. I took pain medication and applied ice packs and heat pad. The pain completely subsided but do experience some lingering pain. Now when I sleep and wake up, i feel a burning sensation in that leg which goes away after I take some few steps or sit down.

The pain may be due to early degenerative changes in the joint or due to some neurological irritation. Get a xray of the relevant joint done . If that is ok then consider glucosamine food supplements along with neurotropic vitamins. For the time being reduce the duration of your walk.
