Pain In Chest, Tiredness. Normal BP, On Birth Control, Not Sexually Active. What Could Be This?

My chest hurts on my left side a lot. It has been like this for the past week. I'm also very tired all day even though I've been getting 8 hours of sleep a night. My blood pressure is normal. What could it be? Also, I'm on birth control, but I've been on it since January and it's fine and helping with my periods. I don't smoke, drink, and I'm not sexually active.

Did you lift something heavy and pull a muscle? Do you have a cough? Fever? Chills? Sounds like you could benefit from a chest x-ray and evaluation. If you need a rec for a pulm doc in your area e-mail me at taclark@comcast.net Otherwise, try warm compresses on and off and anti inflammatory meds like Advil or Alleve.
