Pain In Both Hands, Swelling In Both Feet. No Improvement After Medication. Normal BP, X Ray. Advice?

What would cause severe pain in both hands but mainly in three fingers? My mom is 75 yrs old and this has persisted for 3 days now. Hospital says maybe carpal tunnel gave her codeine and Tylenol for pain but no relief only gotten worse. She also has swelling in both her feet. Blood pressure ok EKG ok and X-ray of neck shows nothing. The pain in hands has just come about. She normally has pain in her toes dr says due to poor circulation. Appreciate your comments.....

Orthopaedic Surgeon, Joint Replacement 's  Response
Hi and welcome to HCM
After going through the entire description, I am of the opinion that the cause for
pain and swelling in both hands and both feet might be due to poor circulation.
Colour Doppler will be helpful to check the circulation status.
Hope this will helps you. Take care.
