Pain In Back Of Skull With Sore Throat And Swollen Glands

I have a slightly sore throat with swollen glands on my neck and also a bad pain at the base of my skull on the same side - is this glands also? Do I need an anti b.?

Hello.
The pain at the base of the skull on the same side could be related to the infection in the throat and to the local enlarged lymph nodes. You should consult with your doctor so that appropriate clinical examination, antibiotic course can be prescribed for you. You can also do gargling with warm water with salt. Drink plenty of vitamin c enriched fluids. Hope this will help. Regards.
