Pain In Back And Stomach, Metallic Taste In Mouth, Discomfort In Urination. History Of Type 1 Diabetes. All Tests Normal. Suggest
I have had back and stomach pains since April, have had a metallic taste in my mouth for the last two weeks, and have also had slight discomfort wee-ing from time to time in the last few months (sometimes a bit of pain, sometimes needing to wee a lot...). I am type one diabetic, and have had kidney blood tests but nothing abnormal showing.

Stomach pain with altered bowel movements may be due to many diseases. It may be due to diabetes or due to associated hormonal abnormality like thyroid problem, IBS or due to improper circadian rhythm. These are few common cause. Get done your whole day blood sugar monitoring once which include sugar levels before and 1 & 2 hour after taking food, HbA1c level, lipid profile, TSH and USG abdomen. Drink plenty of fluids, have fiber rich diet, regularise your sleep and daily physical activity. This will help. Get back with the reports mentioned. Consult your doctor for further examination and management.
