Pain In Anus While Walking, Coughing, Sneezing. Going To Gym, Hemroid?
Hi, i am suffering from pain in my anus when i walk and also when i cough and sneeze. I have asked someone close to me to check if there is anything out of the ordinary from that region and they say it looks perfectly fine but when i felt the area from which the pain was coming from it felt hard.. Was thinking it could be a hemroid as i have been going to the gym these past 6 weeks and have been going heavy on legs.
Hi, thanks for the query to H. C.M. C.
Piles as a common name which is popular among masses.
There are three veins around anus situated at 3, 7, 11 as in a clock's dial.
Any swelling usually somewhat hard to feel during washing of anus after defecation means haemorrhoid.
Haemorrhoid may be one ,two or three as according to above mentioned position around anus.
When haemorrhoid is there , a person feel swelling, mild itch, bleeding ( may be or not).
Excruciating pain is rarely in haemorhoids but excruciating pain is usually in fissure in anus.
So without any delay or hesitation please consult a surgeon and have an advice.
The surgeon will tell you further course of action accordingly.
Good luck. Dr. HET
hi,
You are c/o pain in anus while you are walking, coughing and sneezing and You are able to feel a hard area in the painful spot. You have not mentioned since how long you are having this problem. you are going to gym for the last 6 wks. Otherwise your anus looks healthy. You may have either one of the problem.
1) Initial stage of piles called as !st degree or internal piles - as the name implies you can't feel it as it is inside the anus. Pain may get severe while defecation, coughing and sneezing
2) Peri anal hardness may be due to the initial stage of abscess which starts even by a scratch.
Regarding gym it is not advised to do wt. lifting or exercises (which increases the intra abdominal pressure) Consult a surgeon and follow his advise
Best wishes.
