Pain During Urination Due To Bruise On The Vagina, Clitoris. Medicines?

This is kind of embarrassing, so here it goes. I have a bruise on my vagina and clitoris and it hurts really bad to pee. Sometimes it hurts when I am not peeing but mostly when I pee! Should I be worried? And what are some recomendations to make it feel better?

Hi there,

You might be having a Urinary tract infection which may require antibiotics. I would suggest you to get a urine routine and microscopy done to look for any evidence of urinary tract infection(UTI). Please visit your gynaecologist about the bruise/collection of blood on the vagina. Meanwhile follow good perineal hygiene. Wash and dry the urinary area well . Drink lots of water and flush out the toxins and bacteria.

Do you have backache/lower abdomen pain, fever, vomiting, blood stained urine? These are the other symptoms of UTI. Any abnormal vaginal discharge, curdy white/greenish) discharge suggestive of vaginal infection. Please consult your gynaecologist. Get well soon :)
