Pain During Intercourse. What Could Be The Reason?

Hi Dr. Lundi, I have a question regarding my girl friend s private part. I have not come across anything like hers in porn. She has flesh sticks out on her inner labia right at the opening. They look just like the red part of the chicken head. I believe it is called chicken comb. We have tried to have intercourse up to 10 times at least, she is still experiencing pain. According to her, I might have dragged the comb. I just want to know if this is common.

Hi there. The only comb i am aware of is on a chicken! Having said that, you may be mistaking this 'growth' for a normal feature. However, a viral infection namely 'warts' cannot be ruled out. She will either need to visit a gynecologist/ dermatologist for an opinion or if you feel comfortable, please upload a close up clear photograph of the lesion on this website (healthcaremagic staff will guide you kindly) & you may use our premier 'ask-a-doctor' feature to privately consult us. The treatment for warts (if indeed it is) is simple & needs to be done at the earliest. Cheers & Good Luck
