Hi
Thanks for your query
Looks like you have developed a lesion of Vector dermatitis..also known as
Paederus dermatitis..
Paederus dermatitis is a peculiar, irritant
contact dermatitis characterized by a sudden onset of red lesions on exposed areas of the body. The disease is provoked by an insect belonging to the genus Paederus.
Now as in your case , you have been applying a potent
steroid over your face for the lesion. First of all, i would advise you not to use this steroid prepararyion over the face in future. It is strictly to be avoided over the face .
Now you seem to have developed some form of skin
atrophy due to the use of steroid. Just stop using the same over the face now. Just use s simple moisturizing cream over the face twice day.
Use a sunscreen regularly over the face every time you go out in the sun.
Steroid application over the face tends to thin down the skin and can cause skin atrophy and photo-sensitivity. So use of a sunsrceen is very essential.
Make sure that you do not use any harsh face washes or soap over the face.
The affected area will take it's time but will revert back to normal in due course of time if you take the above precautions.
Hope it helps
