Pain, bruise, swelling in medial part of arm, near the brachial artery. Reason, relief treatment?

Last night I was throwing garbage into a dump truck after a wedding. As I was throwing a bag I heard a cracking sound around my elbow area. I now have pain and bruising to the medial part of my arm where the brachial artery is. I still have decent range of motion, PMS intact. It also appears to have some swelling. Any thoughts?

Thanks for writing to us.
It seems that you have suffered a muscle injury or a tendon damage due to the sudden motion. You need to give adequate rest to your arm and do a hot fomentation. Do consult your orthopedician to rule out any bony injury after an examination.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
