Talk to your cardiologist about taking a beta blocker to reduce the frequency of PVCs if they are very symptomatic and your workup was within normal limits.

I just got a cardiac stress test and an echocardiogram done today. I am having a LOT of PVC s. the options are to: 1. ignore it since I am not having any other symptoms, 2. get on Verapamil, or 3. cardiac ablation which only has a 70% chance of eradicating this problem. Structurally my heart is healty, not regurg, no enlarged chambes, EF is 70%, I am 52 y/o and I exercise, eat healthy and am not overweight. My concern is: 1. how long can I live with these PVC s. 2. I am about to start taking Cymbalta and am concerned how this medication will react with Verapamil if I start taking this drug as well.

I am a female, 24 years old, with 2 children ages 3, and 1. I have suffered from PVC s for about 13 years now. But, after having my last child they have gotten extremely bad. I can only sleep on my right side at night, if I move I have episodes of PVC s where it will do it every other heart beat until I get up. I ve had EKG s and a 24 hour monitor put on, and all they ve found is PVC s. Here for the last few months I ve been feeling like I need to take a deep breath all the time, and sometimes I feel like I need to yawn all the time, and I actually stop myself from yawning sometimes because it makes my heart skip. I don t eat sugar, drink caffeine, or alcohol... I m just wondering if maybe someone could talk to me that experiences these same things? Or if maybe I feel like I can t breath because of anxiety (Which I am a very anxious person!) So please help! Any way that you can?

Hi:) I am 19 years old girl-normal weight going to thin. Non-smoker,non-drinker,never used drugs.
My problem is the fast heart rate. I get tired so easily. Mine heart rate in rest is ussually normal min 70 max 90. But problem is when i am standing up-it start to jump and raise up the tahycardia to 150. Then i feel fatique and dizziness, weakness in legs and arms. Even i can't walk anymore,it beats so fast so i lost my breathe and i need to sit. After sit it gets calm for 5 min.
I did all blood analizys and they all came back normal. I checked heart with ecg, holter monitor and echo, and doctors here said that everything is ok with heart. Another thing is my bp which is 90/60 generally. Isn't it wired to have low bp and high hr?
I am in big worry and i ask for help as soon as it is possible:)

hi there, i am a 24year old female, i been experiencing sudden onset of palpitations that can last anywhere between 15minutes-a few hours. they make me feel dizzy, nausea, SOB and once resolved im feeling exhausted for a few hours. iv been to a cardiologist who put me on a holter monitor for 3 weeks but nothing showed up. i was recently taken to hospital for the palpitations but it only showed a sinus tachycardia of 145bpm. i was not anxious infact i get palpitations like this randomly i could be resting or at work. my grandmother and my uncle had cardiac ablasions for palpitations like mine, unfortunatly they are unable to remember the name of the arrhythmia they had. my cardiologist says to just take Propanolol when they come on to help bring down my heart rate otherwise the cause at present is unknown. what could be causing me to experience palpitations? i am one to beleive there is a cause for everything..

Hi, I am wondering why palpitations occur when changing positions or while rolling over during sleep. I have had a normal echo and PVC's and PAC's on a holter. I also notice these palpitations more in the morning when first waking up and moving around

Hello I am a female 56 years old. I am 5'4 and weigh 200 pounds.
Recently I had a 48 hour Holter monitor. My doctor says my heart has "extra beats." Sometimes I do feel heart palpitations especially when the weather is hot and humid. This is my only symptom. She wants me to see a cardiologist. What do you think?
