PCOS, Irregular Period, TSH, Insulin And Prolactin Level Normal. Done Ultrasound. Need I Worry?

Hello Doctor,
I am 25 years old
My latest ultrasound report, I am describing here. Please let me know what is cure it is dangerous or not

Both overies are increased in size with thickened central stroma and show multiple follicles arranges peripherally due to Poly cystic ovarian disease.utreus is of normal size.
my TSH, insulin, Prolactin reports are normal.
In january 2012, also i am diagnoised and have cysts of .3mm size.at that time I am facing spotting problem with irregular periods.that time also my all reports are normals.
But right now,i am having very irregular periods (2-3 month delay) with very less blood flow(neglible flow)

Thanks for your query.
The condition that you are facing is called PCOS ( polycystic ovarian syndrome ).
There is basic hormonal imbalance, due to which, the ovary gets studded with multiple small follicles, resembling cysts.
None of them mature like normal every month to form a dominant follicle, hence there is difficulty in menstruation and ovulation.
you need to have the following additional tests - FSH and LH on day 2 of cycle, oral glucose tolerance test, DHEAS, free testosterone, lipid profile.
Metformin can be given to control cycles.
weight loss is a must if you are overweight.
clomiphene can be taken to induce ovulation for fertility.
