PCOS, cramps, light headedness, nausea, headache. Pregnant?

Hi, I have pcos and haven t had a period since may 1st-6th. Usually my periods come at least every three months.. this time it didn t. I have had period-like cramping for two weeks now, I get light headed sometimes, nausea at least once a day and severe head aches. Could I be pregnant? I took a pregnancy test last week and it was negative but should I test again?

I have gone through your query and understood the concern. Since the status of ovulation cannot be speculated in PCOD, it is difficult to say through a HPT whether pregnancy has occurred as the test may nor read well. Blood test for pregnancy should be done. The ideal thing to do in the current scenario is to get a trans-vaginal sonogram to confirm/exclude pregnancy and also to know the state of the pelvic organs. If positive for pregnancy, monitoring is done. If negative, induction of a period is suggested. Hope this helps.
