Really worried I usually take ibuprofen at least three times a day but never thirty minutes apart should I be this worried? It s been fourth five minutes already since the last dose an I feel fine for now! Is there anything I should know or do? Thank you in advance!!

Hi and welcome to Healthcare Magic. Thanks for your question...

Taking excessive amounts of Ibuprofen can have many adverse health consequences. Acute effects may be gastric irritation, ulcers, etc. and higher doses can cause severe consequences like gastro-intestinal haemorrhage, kidney problems, liver problems, etc. Chonic use can also lead to renal impairment, liver impairment and many more. Please consult a doctor for a physical examination and further advise and please refrain from regular or excessive use of pain killer medication in the future.

Wish you all the best.
