Over the past month, I have had 17 "episodes" where the left side of my body...face all the way down to toes...cramps or spasms all at the same time. I can feel the onset which takes approximately 10-15 seconds to peak. Stays at that peak for another 10-15 seconds. Another 10-15 seconds for the release. I've dealt with tension headaches most of my life. I just returned from the neurologist after having an MRI with & without contrast, a CT scan, and an EEG, all of which he claimed to be normal. He told me he "thinks" these episodes are seizures and prescribed me an anti seizure medication. I was/am in shock. My response to him was Epilepsy? He said yes. I said I'm a 47 year old woman with no history of seizures and you're telling me all of a sudden I'm epileptic? He said yes. Is this possible?

I have had severe episodes of lightheadedness over the last four months. The episodes put me in a daze where I even find it hard to stand. Recently the episodes have become more frequent and intense. They are usually brought on by exertion. I have had extensive mri s of the head and neck, as well as a CT of the head. All of the tests did not discover a problem. I also had a tilt table test and was told I am orthostatic. I was diagnosed with a pulmonary embolism in 4/2016. It was my second since 2010. I had mitral valve repair last July.

Since almost one year, once or twice per month, I get this sudden phenomenon of blurred vision followed by a headache. The blurriness is not overwhelming, I can still see but it makes me unable to concentrate on one thing, I might describe it as a bright light positioned right next to my eye, you can feel its presence and also it blurry effect. The blurriness lasts for about 10 to 20 minutes maximum then it goes away completely and it’s followed by a headache, not very intense but that could last for hours. What is this ? and what could be the reason ? Thank you.
