Over a month ago, I cut quite badly on my arm. 3 cuts still look particularly bad, basically on each there is a huge flap of bright red slimy, what looks like fatty tissue hanging out and it is wet to the touch meaning when I bandage it it still bleeds through. I don’t know what the flaps are or if this is a problem? Because I’ve never cut that deep before but it really doesn’t look good. What is wrong with it? And what do I do?

Hi, I was jumping onto a metal step at the gym 5 months ago and cut my leg. I did not have stitches as the skin was intact although peeled back which the Doctor cleaned. Now I have a scar and a dent in that area. Also I have difficulty kneeling on it as it feels like a numb lump on the inside. My question is will the skin continue to rise and get rid of the dent, the brown scar fade and what is the lump I feel underneath? Thank-you Brenda

I hit scalp hard on cabinet door edge over a month ago and still have lump that is painful. Did not apply ice at time. How can I reduce the swelling? When should I worry? And as if that wasn t enough, began PT 10 days ago for post-melanoma surgery (6 years ago) neck adhesions and too vigorous treatment first week has left me with torn upper trap and neck hematoma which I am treating with ice. Is it too late to use ice on my scalp? Should I have gotten my head x-rayed or scanned at the time? .
