Osteoporosis,osteoarthritis,swollen And Painful Knee Joints.

i m suffering from osteoporosis and osteoarthritis both and my knee joints are swollen and painful ,i m feeling trouble in walking and even in standing for more time , if i walk constant for more than 15 minuits also i suffer from muscular cramp and feel very much pain,once 1 doctor asked to test arthritic profile then my ANA was more than 40, is it not curable, i m very much tense for it, can u give me any suggestion ?

The outcome of treatment depends upon 2 factors, the presence of underlying systemic disease and the severity of damage to the joints. Whatever damage or degeneration has occured will not be reversed by medications. But one can surely achieve symptomatic relief and better quality of life from medications and physiotherapy.
