Orangish Flume And Blood Discharge From Nose

Hi dr. I have cold for abt a week. I had Pain in my right side of the face completely my eyes, my teeth, my ear , my cheeks all the right side and I have flum with blood. Please advice

I will try my best to answer your query.

The symptoms which you are mentioning indicate towards maxillary sinusitis with rhinitis. Cold will result in dry nose and frequent nose picking may be responsible for blood from the nose.
I advice you to take steam inhalation, pain killers to reduce pain and antibiotic will be helpful.

If it does not subside in a day or to i advice you to see ENT specialist.

Hi,

You are having acute sinusitis, please do not delay you require a thorough examination by a good ENT specialist and managed appropriately. Azithromycin is not the antibiotic of choice especially in acute condition. Self medication is always bad, it can lead to drug induced complications. 3- Tab wikoryl 1 tab 3 times a day.
