Oral Sex, Throat Pain, Swelling In Tonsils, Yellow Discharge. Treatment?

Hi, I had gave a guy oral sex about almost two weeks ago. Yesturday I noticed pain in my throat . Later on the same day I looked in the mirror and my right tonsil is swollen, red, and has some yellow stuff on it. This is the second time that this has happened after giving oral to the same guy. Could this be a STI? The first time it happened I took some antibiotics for it and it eventually went away. I have no health insurance now to get antibiotics, so is there another way that I can get rid of it?

hello. it is very likely that the infection is sexually transmitted and you should stop oral sex with this guy. i would also like you to get yourself tested for std. for the time being, you can just do warm salt water gargling, which will help soothe your throat, thanks
