Operated For Breast Cancer, Had Chemo And On Medication. Abdominal Wall Thickened. Cancer Again ?

hi my mother having a breast cancer .she operate it and had a chemo therapy and radio therapy..after a year doctors said her adbominal is very thick (10cm). she is having cholestrol too. and she takes medicine for that too..for cance she is taking medicine called tamoxofin 20mg. doctor advice to do a bioxy for stomach ..i just want to know is it a cancer again?

Although cancer can spread anywhere but breast cancer spreading to the abdominal wall is not very common. Did the doctors do any test to say that the abdominal wall is thick or did they just examine her and feel for any swelling. It would be better if you could send a picture showing her abdominal wall. If the doctors feel the need for a biopsy, there is no harm in it, as it would rule out cancer.

What surgery did your mother undergo and what was her weight during that time?
