Hello,

Thanks for posting,

It appears to me you are suffering from the adverse effects of flagyl (metronidazole) and you seem to have manifested a good number of them. It was wise to stay off the medication. You needed to have contacted your treating doctor to report this to him as soon as the first few symptoms appear.
Now since your concern is muscle pain you will definitely still require to visit your doctor so he can provide you with an appropriate medication to help relief the symptoms faster. Your drugs may include antineuralgic and/or pain killers.
You will still need treatment to eradicate the amoebic infection.

Hope this helps
