On Warfarin And Beta Blockers, Have A Breakfast Comprising Cucumbers, Tomatoes, Pistachio Nuts, Oatmeal. Is It Safe?

I am presently on 5 mg of warfarin and Beata Blockers. Down from 6 mgs. I eat quite a few tomatoes and cucumbers and 1/2 cup pistacio nuts and a sprinkle of walnuts on my oatmeal in the morning. Is this ok? Also have 10 red grapes for a snack and 2TBS Hummus with fibre rich wholewheat tortilla. Is this ok? Thanks for being here.... Carol

Hi Carol,

Thanks for your query.

None of the edibles that you eat, interfere with warfarin. Nor do they affect the bleeding mechanism in any manner.

So, you can continue with all the items.
