On Tri-sprintec For A Long Time. Had Unprotected Sex. Pregnant?

I have been on tri-sprintec for about 2 years and I never take it at a certain time. Recently I had unprotected sex. Does this mean that I am pregnant because I been feeling a little sick and sleepy. I need help..... also how long do I have to wait before I can take a test and is it possible for me to get pregnant while on birth control?

Hi,
Thanks for the query.

If you didn't maintain the time while taking the pills, complete protection cannot be expected.
So the possibility of the pregnancy cannot be excluded an also cannot be confirmed just by the symptoms.
So you wait till your expected date of periods.
And if you miss the periods go for pregnancy test once.
Meanwhile better to use some additional method of contraception.

Take care.
