On Nuva Ring. Got My Periods. Feel Nausea, Fatigue, Veginal Discharge, Bbt Temperature, Cramping. Pregnant?

I was due for my period the 21st. Started nuva ring the 20th. And have not gotten my period and have been having symptoms of being naseous, extremely fatigued, increased vaginal discharge and bbt temperature. Also before my period I had slight cramping and have continued to have a small amount of spontaneous cramping. Could I be pregnant or are these side effects of the nuva ring?

Hi,
You should have excluded pregnancy before having the contraception. Please get a pregnancy test done immediately with a fresh early morning sample of urine or for definite and early confirmation/exclusion of pregnancy, go for the serum beta-hCG estimation. If pregnancy can be excluded, absence of the period may be seen as a consequence of the contraception. You should also get a trans-vaginal sonogram either way to assess the situation. Please see a specialist for further suggestions. Take care.
