On Medication For Pulmonary Tuberculosis. Feeling Nausea, Vomiting And Shortness Of Breath. Safe Medication?
Hello Dr. Grief, I am 23 years old, Female, 5 ft tall, weighing 42.5 kg, i am on medication for Pulmonary tuberculosis and i am taking Fixcom 4pcs 1hour before breakfast everyday. I started on medication 5 days ago. but yesterday, i started experiencing nausea, vomitting and shortness of breath. :( And i loss my appetite. Is it still safe to continue taking up this medicine?

Hello reguarding your pulmonary t.b really sad to hear,,,the drugs mistly causes side effects but you still have to necessarily complete course ,,,i advice you few steps which will reduce your problems,,,firstly take medicines with milk to some extent it avoid nausea,,,take plenty of epwater and fruits,,,along with anti t,b drugs add some ant acids lime ukcenil 1 tablet daily....you need to be speciall conscious about few things.....with anti,tb drugs sometimes your body secretions become pale or cola coloured this is normal to some extent but if colour becomes extremely darker consult doctor,,,if you cannot distinguisn between colors immediately go to doctors some anti t,b drugs have bad effects on eyes,,,sometimes you might feel tinglins sensation for that take vitamin b-12 ,,,,,,,,hope you be fine soon stay blessed
