On Levoxyl And Iodine Treatment. Slightly High Cholesterol. Any Substitute For Levoxyl With No Dye And Less Inactive Ingredients?

what are the inactive ingredients in levoxyl which i have taken for ten years. I have slight high cholesterol yet I eat a total orgainic diet and i am vegetarian. Just recently reaized the 75mg has two dyes in it . also i believe theremay be a connection betwen High cholesterol and hypothrodism which is what I am after iodine treatment. Now that levoxyl is off the market I want a replacement with no dye and less inactive ingredients if that is possible. Help! Thanks1

Hi,
Welcome to healthcare Magic!
Levoxyl is Levothyroxine sodium which is a replacement hormone for low functio of thyroid gland.
The hypothyroidism affects your metabolism that is your body's power to handle the nutrients and products and it cause derangement of lipid profile and hence deranged cholesterol levels.
You can take other replacement brand like Thyronorm or Eltroxin to manage the hypothyroidism problem.
I hope the advise would be informative and useful for you.
Take Care!
