On 8/12/17I had Whipple surgery at MSK NYC for Pancreatic Cancer. I have according to my Oncologist that A series of CT Scans every six months indicates that there is no cancer detected. Recently, my Gastroenterologist wants to stop taking OMEPRAZOLE DR 20 MG and start taking ZENPEP (PANCRELIPASE). I have fully recovered taking OMEPRAZOLE Eating Healthy Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner without any indigestion or Diarrhea and have a healthy bowel movement every morning. I have visited ZENPEP via www.zenpep.com for Patient Information and concerned about the information provided.

Hi, my name is Sheila from Philippines..my mom has been diagnosed of pancreatic cancer last month. She undergo, ultrasound, CA19-9 & CT Scan ..her doctor said that, 95% she has a pancreatic cancer & the only possible cure is to undergo Whipple surgery but the doctor also warned us about the complication it will brought after. Based on the size of the tumor , the physician said that it was a stage 2 pancreatic cancer & there is still no evidence of lymphadenopathy as ct scan result. We wanted to prolong our mothers life but we are too afraid with the risk..Please help us to decide & give us more information about Pancreatic cancer & treatment. Thanks a lot.
