Hi, My mum is a cancer patient, she is on pemetrexed, a chemo given every 3 week. She is so anemic. Very pale and week. They did once give her two pints of blood. Can you suggest any other supplemens to help her? Apart from the health shop Iron and B vitimins and Vit etc?
Hi- My aunt has pancreatic cancer. She had a wipple procedure and is now on stage 3 of chemo. I am going to stay with her for a month as a caregiver and am interested in nutrition for her. she is having issues with diarrhea and was told not to eat fruits and some veggies as they are making it worse. I would like to find some binding foods that are good for her besides potatoes... thoughts?
Hello Doctor, Mom is (aged 66) diagnosed with Breast cancer stage 2. Post surgery, she has just completed first chemo yesterday. Further the Fish test suggested gene amplification and hence she has to be given special injection to counter that (17 injections). 1. I am 51 years old I am suffering from COPD for the past 10 years, I was a heavy smoker and quit smoking completely in 1997. I had a coronary infarct about 38 years ago & am 63 now - Height 5ft 7in & weight about 75/78 kgs (about 170lbs) but over the last two years I have been getting short of breath if I sprint a bit on my walks or if i take the staircase quickly or walk fast.
