Numbness In Fingers, Cold, Heart Palpitations, High BP

Hi I am 24yr old female and I am experiencing a numbness/tingling sensation in my pinkies. It is only my pinkies and not any of my other fingers. They are extremely cold and almost feel like when your foot falls asleep. It started last night I have also been experiencing heart palpitations. Well at least it feels that way, when I wake up in the morning I feel like my heart is going to beat out of my chest, I can hear it in my ears and almost feel winded. I had a doctors apt. about a month ago and when the nurse was took my B/P it was really high 160/90. I have never had problems with high B/P before and my doctor told me to start checking my B/P at home. When I have checked it, it has not been high.

Cardiologist 's  Response
Hi friend,
Welcome to Health Care Magic

EKG / HOLTER (24 to 48 hour ambulatory monitoring) / ECHOcardiogram / TMT (Treadmill exercise ECG) / LABORATORY work-up – may all be necessary for further assessment and assistance. You may even need Electro Physiological Studies (EPS)
You may also need further work up by a neurologist. MRI of the spine and thoracic inlet may be needed – to evaluate compression of the spinal cord or T-1 nerve root / or vascular compression.

The treating doctor may suggest them depending on need, based on his assessment of the situation.

Take care
Wishing all well
God bless
Good luck
