Noticing Nausea And Vomiting Due To Thickening Of Left Adrenal Gland

WHAT could be the cause of thickening of the left adrenal gland ? I also have mentioned on my L Spine MRI ( where the adrenal gland left thickening was mentioned), cholelithiasis. 6 disks in L Spine are broad-based disc protrusion. ( and I have central canal stenosis in L Spine and C spine. Mcost recently, over the last few months I sometimes have naseau, followed by vomiting ( usually only once or twice)...and just a general ill health feeling that I feel is not related to my stenosis or disks protrusions. Thanks.

Hello and welcome to HCM,
There presence of thickened adrenals, cholelithiasis and protrusion of discs has different implications.
Cholelithiasis is presence of stones in the gall bladder.
This condition can result in inflammation of the gall bladder.
The disc protrusion results in compression of the nerve roots emanating from the spinal cord.
This compression can cause pain in the area of distribution of the nerves.
Occasional nausea and vomiting can be due to some disorder of the gastrointestinal tract.
The thickened adrenal gland can be due to hyperplasia or adenoma.
You need to consult your doctor to find out the lesion in the adrenal by suitable investigations.
Cholelithiasis has to be managed by cholecystectomy.
Protrusion of the intervertebral discs can be corrected by taking bed rest.
If the protrusion increases, surgical measures may have to be taken.
The adrenal thickening can only be managed once correct diagnosis is made.

Thanks and take care
