Noticed Patches On Chest And Back Post Taking Tetralysal For Rosacea. Side Effect Or Spreading Rosacea?

i was at my doctor on thursday gone and he told me i had rosacea, i was prescribed tetralysal 300 tablets. the following day i noticed that small red rosacea like patches had begun to form on my chest and back. is it possible that these red patches are a side effect of tetralysal, or is it possible for the rosacea to break out on my back.

Hi,

If you have rosacea, then the lesions are always limited to face only.

You are taking teyralysal for rosacea.

And you developed reddish lesions in chest and back.

These lesions are not the part of rosacea., But , they are more likely drug exanthems and may be due to tetralysal.

I think ,you should stop tetralysal and shift to azithromycine.

Lesions may be vanished.

Still, you discuss with your dermatologist and then take proper steps.

Ok.. I hope you might be satisfied with my answer.

Regards,
