Noticed Blood Discharge Due To Stomach Cramps

I have had stomach cramps all day almost like a period cramp but worse. I finally went to the bathroom and when I wiped I saw blood. So I looked in the toilet and there was blood in the toilet and in my poop gross I know but trying to be as descriptive as possible. What could this be and should I be worried.

Hi,

Thanks for writing to health care magic.
I can understand your concern.

Blood in the stool with cramps could be because of dysentery. That is stomach infection. There could be other causes as well. You should consult your doctor at the earliest for a complete physical examination. Your doctor may order certain investigations based on the physical examination findings. Further management depends on the diagnosis made. So consult your doctor for a examination to identify the cause.

Continue to ask further queries as required.
Hope this helps.
Take care.
