Not Able To Urinate, Severe Cramping. What Is The Problem?

I am 34 years old, 3 days ago out of nowhere I was unable to pee. I drink a lot of water, so I fell and know my bladder is full. I went to a clinic, they catherized me to relieve the pressure. But several hours later I was unable to urinate. I went to my family doctor, he catherized me and I am now wearing a catheter , He referred me to a uralogist but am unable to see him until the end of feb. I am having serious cramping, am due to start my period and I am not sure what to do or what the problem is

You probably have ureteric calculus, get yourself investigated with ultrasound
