Not able to gain weight. Can I use testosterone boosters? Born with one kidney. Any complications?

I am an Asian athlete and I've tried everything to gain weight and muscle but I can't . I just get really toned. I am considering using Testosterone boosters to help, but I am hesitant because I was born with only one kidney and heard it can be tough on it. Do you suggest using them or not? Even for one month to try gaining a bit of weight
