Nose smelling like mildew all time. Is it due to infection?

Hello I moved to Southern California Inland Empire about a year and a half ago from the east coast. I began noticing not long after getting here that the inside of my nose started to smell like mildew all the time. Somtimes its stronger than others... I figured it could possibly be mucus mildewing on the longer nose hairs but it lingers after i cut them.... Infection? thank for any insight - Frankie

Allergy or infection is likely
Anti-histamine and/or decongestants may help
The best option is to be examined by a Nose (Ear and Throat) specialist.
