Normal For Child To Sweat Profusely After Taking Tonsillitis Medicine?

My four year old son has been diagnosed with tonsillitus this evening after having temp of 39.2, pain in back of neck and difficulty swallowing. This evening he has had paracetamol, ibuprofen and antibotics. His temp has dropped to 35 and below and he is sweating prefusively. Is this normal please?

Hi,



Yes ,paracetamol and ibuprofen can cause sweating when fever comes down .


Again after 4-6 hers temp may go up.



Give enough fluids to the baby.
