No period, pregnancy test negative. No weight gain. Reason for no periods?

i havent had my period in 4 months. when at first it didnt show up, i immediately assumed pregnancy. i purchased and took 4 in home pregnancy tests . all 4 said i was pregnant. here i am 4 months later not really feeling any different then normal. i havent gained any weight, or had any symptoms of pregnancy other then my period not showing up for 4 months straight. im starting to think i might not be pregnant at all. but i dont know any other reason why my period wouldnt show up.

In above condition, you should undergo one blood test for beta HCG along with USG lower abdomen at the earliest to confirm or exclude intrauterine pregnancy.

Other reasons for delayed period are ovarian cyst (most common), hormonal imbalance, stress/ anxiety, thyroid problem, wt gain/extreme loss, irregular eating habits, psychological factor etc.

You may require some investigations to rule out underlying pathology through USG pelvis, thyroid profile & other hormone assay etc. Consult with your doctor and take suggestive measures.

Avoid stress / anxiety, take healthy diet with iron supplements, eat more fruits & vegetables and maintain genital hygiene properly.
