New Born Prescribed With Calpol, Paracetamol Post Hernia Surgery. Is It Safe?

Hi there i have a 2 week old baby that just underwent surgery for his hernia to be put back in place, and his right testicle being bought back to place. However the doctors here have subscribed carlpol and paracetemol for two weeks, I want to know if the medicine that we are giving my son is safe for him to use? Because on the box of carlpol it says do not give to under three months!!

Hi,Osman,
Thanks for query. You need not to give either of medicine if your son is comfortable and not having pain i.e not crying.
As and when required when you feel that your child is uncomfortable, you can give.
Ok and bye.
