Need Treatment For Cyst On The Hip

my husband has a 5cm cyst in the ball and socket joint of the right hip.He has it the last four years.He had it drained on numerous occasions,on a cocktail of pain relief tablets.He also had nerve block treatment six wks. ago he is at the end of his tether.

Hello, 

I have studied your case. 

Lump which is usually cystic [soft] and painful.
It should have been visualized on MRI.

FNAC [needle aspiration cytology] may help before going for biopsy procedure.

After so many procedure now excision of cyst will help in treatment.
