Need Treatment For PCOS.

I m 22 years old and suffering from PCOS from last 6years. I had taken medicines for almost3,4 years and then stopped after suggesting by my doctor. But still i am suffering from irregular periods and lots of facial hair. My last period was before two and half months. What should i do please help me please..

I am so sorry about your problem, I am sure it must be frustrating. I am not sure what medicines you took, or why your doctor told you to stop taking them, but if you are still having symptoms, then you should probably start the medicines again. You can use birth control pills, which are very effective, but using progesterone 10 days each month can also help, and using metformin may also help. Which one is right for you depends on many factors and your doctor needs to help you decide which one is right for you. The most effective treatment for PCOS, in women that are overweight, is proper diet, exercise, and weight loss. If you are overweight, then losing weight and exercise alone may be enough to cure your problem
