Need Medicine For Sharp Pain In The Abdomen After Hysterectomy

I am 3 weeks post op after a total abdominal hysterectomy. (Uterus, ovaries, cervix, tubes). I am feeling very good except for a sharp pain in my right lower abdomen. It becomes very painful if I am on my feet for more than 5 minutes. My left side feels fine. Not sure if this is normal recovery or I should see my doctor sooner than my follow up appointment in one week?
