Need Medicine For High Fever
My Daughter is suffering from high fever night from yesterday night. The dengue fever is also fastly spreading through our area. Presently I'm giving Calpol but fever dosent coming down completely. Is it ok to give meftal to her? Is meftal not good if this dengue fever?

There are several causes of fever. Dengue presents with fever, but, petechiae (small, pin-point bleeding spots on the skin), low blood pressure are also present. Even though dengue fever is spreading in your area, the cause of her fever could be something else and not dengue.
It is essential that you take her to a doctor. You may do the following investigations prior to the doctor visit:
Hemoglobin, hematocrit;
CBC;
LFT;
Serum creatinine;
Urine -Routine & microscopy.
In the meantime you can give her Meftal-P. Meftal-P is safe in children.
