Need Medicine For Headache

Im currently waiting on results from a head CT which i probably won't have until Monday. I have had a headache on the left side of my head/ base of skull for a week now. Now it hurts to even eat. No painkillers have given me relief. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what this might be?

Hello!

My name is Dr. Aida and I am glad to attend you on Healthcaremagic!

Your symptoms could be related to chronic degeneration of the cervical spine (a bulging disk) or occipital neuralgia.
I would like to have some more information on your pain:
- is it shooting or throbbing type ?
- How long does it last?
- Is it tender to touch?
- Is the pain triggered by neck movements?
Coming to this point, I would recommend taking indomethacine 150mg twice daily for some days (if no contraindications).
I would be glad to review your CT scan report for a more professional opinion whenever you will upload it.
Hope you will find this answer helpful!
Kind regards!
